Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate
Data Protection Inspectorate (hereinafter “inspectorate”) is a government office functioning in the regulation area of the Ministry of Internal Affairs which provides national surveillance and applies national forcing methods on the basis of and to such extent as provided for in law. The main task of the Data Protection Inspectorate is the implementation of the independent supervision over the legality of processing personal data and keeping databases, as well as organizing data protection activities.
